I wanted to welcome you to my new blog on my new website! 😀 I hope you have enjoyed looking around and getting to know me better. Here on my blog, I want to showcase some of my sessions, tips, and ticks of a successful session, and who knows what else.

I have come so far since 2021, when I officially started my photography business. Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was 16. I started out photographing landscapes and going to Cades Cove any chance I got. Many circumstances prevented me from launching my career. Once I moved back to Knoxville in 2020 and had many discussions with my husband, Dave, he encouraged me to go for it. After some research, I knew very little about opening a business and discovered it was easier than I was trying to make it.

I have met many photographers, including Jaimie with Jaimie Renee Photography. She has been a massive supporter of me and my business and in helping me grow. She took me under her wing and hired me as a second shooter and editor. She understood my love for weddings and helped me learn everything I needed to know. I love second shooting with her, and we are a great duo. Because of her, I came to know another excellent photographer, Devon, with Devon Adrianne Photography. She has her hands in a little of everything, including mentoring, website design, and more. She is the one I have to thank for my beautiful website design and the headshots you see here. 

I look forward to many more posts to come; until then, I wanted to get started on a small introduction to my business. If any new photographers wonder if you should create a business, GO FOR IT! You never know what you may be missing out on.
